Ridgemont’s boys basketball team used a big fourth quarter to drop visiting Waynesfield-Goshen 76-59 on Friday in Northwest Central Conference action.
The Gophers bump their record to 6-10 overall and 3-3 in the NWCC. The Tigers drop to 4-10, 2-3.
Ridgemont led 17-16 at the end of the first quarter, but W-Goshen moved in front for a 36-35 lead at halftime.
The Gophers regained the lead in the third quarter. Ahead 50-47 entering the fourth quarter, Ridgemont outscored the Tigers 26-12 over the final eight minutes to pull away.
Tyler Tillman led the Gophers with 29 points, Tim Cowan had a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds, Josh Corbin had 12 points and nine rebounds and Chris Weyant added eight points.
