IL girls hand Knights their first Mad River loss

Indian Lake’s girls basketball team picked up its biggest win of the season Saturday, surprising host Greenon 48-37 in a Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division game.

It was the Knights’ first Mad River division loss. Greenon is now 10-5, 6-1.

Indian Lake improves to 7-9, 3-4.

“I am thrilled for the girls,” said Indian Lake head coach Tim McMahon. “Greenon beat us the first time at our place, but our girls played a lot better this time. It was a good turnaround for us.”
