Triad girls whip Cedarville 73-23 for OHC hoops win

Triad’s girls basketball team thumped host Cedarville 73-23 Thursday in an Ohio Heritage Conference meeting.

The win bumps the Cardinals to 8-4 overall and 6-2 in the OHC, while the Indians slide to 3-13, 1-7.

Triad jumped out to an 18-7 lead after the first quarter. The Cardinals pulled away in the second quarter with a 23-5 run, which gave them a 41-12 advantage at halftime.
