Fairbanks pulls out win over Triad girls 54-47

Fairbanks’ girls basketball team churned out a 54-47 win over visiting Triad on Monday in a non-league matchup.

The Panthers are now 3-7, while the Cardinals slip to 7-4.

Fairbanks came away with an 18-13 lead after the opening quarter. Triad came back to outscore the Panthers 16-12 in the second quarter to close to within a point (30-29) at halftime.
