Benjamin Logan’s boys basketball team put up a good fight against a talented Kenton squad on Friday, but the host Wildcats were able to use a fourth-quarter surge to gain a 62- 55 non-league victory.
The Raiders fall to 3-6, while Kenton moves to 7-1.
It was tight game for much of the night. The score was tied 14-14 after one quarter and the Wildcats held a one-point edge (26-25) at halftime.
Ben Logan moved in front 37-36 at the end of the third quarter.
Kenton grabbed control in the final period by outscoring the Raiders 26-18.
Dalton Greene powered the Raiders with a game-high 22 points. David Wenger had 15 points and Jordan Sosby tacked on eight points.
In the junior varsity game, Kenton won 43-39.
Ben Logan returns to action tonight at home against Upper Scioto Valley.
