Tigers keep on winning

West Liberty-Salem’s boys basketball team extended its winning streak to five games Tuesday with a 69-41 victory over host Cedarville in an Ohio Heritage Conference matchup.

The Tigers are now 5-1 overall and 4-0 in the OHC.

WL-Salem escaped the first quarter with a 19-18 edge. The Tigers pulled away in the second quarter with a 20-6 run, which gave them a 39-24 advantage at halftime.

In the third quarter, the Tigers continued to wear down the Indians with a 13-6 effort. That gave WL-Salem a 52-30 lead.
