West Liberty-Salem’s wrestling team competed at the Versailles Invitational on Saturday and came away with a 2-3 dual meet record.
The Tigers defeated Arcanum 31-30 and beat National Trail 34-30, but lost to Covington 59-15, Sidney Lehman 31-10 and Triad 30-27.
Josh Cordell (138) led WL-Salem by going 5-0 with four pins on the day. Also for the Tigers, Trevor Anderson (126) went 4-1 with three pins and Damon Walters (113) went 2-0 with two pins.
WL-Salem returns to the mat on Saturday at the Washington Court House Duals.
