West Liberty-Salem’s girls basketball team handled visiting Cedarville 64-35 on Thursday to coast to an Ohio Heritage Conference victory.
The Tigers improve to 3-4 overall and 2-2 in the OHC.
WL-Salem started with a 13-4 run in the first quarter and outscored Cedarville 20-11 in the second quarter. That gave the Tigers a 33-15 halftime advantage.
Lauren Godwin paced the Tigers with 13 points, Maria Daulton had 12 points, while Alandra Cox and Sydney Eggleston each added 10 points.
In junior varsity action, WL-Salem won 46-15.
WL-Salem hosts Springfield Shawnee on Monday in a non-league contest.
