Bellefontaine’s boys bowling team split a tri-match with Springfield Shawnee and Northwestern on Thursday.
Northwestern led the way with a 2,953, Bellefontaine had a 2,721 and Shawnee finished with a 2,628.
The Chiefs are now 12-1 overall and 5-1 in CBC action.
Dylan Legge powered Bellefontaine with games of 268 and 236 for a 504 series. Joey Jacobs had games of 214 and 215 for a 429 series, Cale Sterling had a 384 series (202, 182), Alex Richards rolled a 195 game, Devin Legge had a 191 game and Cody Hullinger added a 187 game.
In the junior varsity boys match, Shawnee took first with a 2,135. Northwestern had 2,110 and Bellefontaine posted a 1,670.
Dalton Massey paced the Chiefs with a 176 game and 334 series and Josh Rinbolt added a 140 game and 274 series.
Northwestern finished first in the girls varsity match with a 2,417. Bellefontaine was next with a 2,147 and Shawnee had a 1,966.
Haleigh Stafford led the Chiefs with a 209 game and 361 series. Allie Skelly rolled a 168 game and 323 series, McKinley Manns rolled a 157 game and 285 series and Sierra Rhoades added a 159 game.
In junior varsity girls action, Northwestern had a 1,912 and Bellefontaine finished with 1,441.
Hannah Hall led Bellefontaine with a 151 game and 275 series. Drew Wagoner added a 122 game.
