There were high expectations for Bellefontaine’s boys basketball team this season, but an 0-2 start suddenly dampened the season outlook.
Following a 67-39 rout of Greenon on Tuesday, the Chiefs (1-2, 0-1) are looking to take another step in the right direction Friday when they travel to Kenton Ridge (2-1, 0-1) for a Central Buckeye Conference Kenton Trail division game.
“We needed a game like that,” said BHS head coach Henry Stolly of the Greenon victory. “I think this will help give everyone some confidence.”
Bellefontaine was clicking on all cylinders in the second half of Tuesday’s game, outscoring the Knights 38-12.
