Ben Logan bowlers fall to KR in CBC action


Kenton Ridge’s boys and girls bowling teams swept host Benjamin Logan on Wednesday in a Central Buckeye Conference match at T-P Lanes.

The Cougars won the boys match 2,712-2,447 and took the girls match 2,177-1,925.

Logan Wenger paced the Raider boys with games of 211 and 178 for a 389 series, while Josh Wiley had games of 175 and 193 for a 368 series. Wes Brown added games of 178 and 179 for a 357 series.

Leading the Raider girls were Danielle Jones with a game of 198, Becca Crum with games of 190 and a 180 for a 370 series, Alyssa Smucker with a game of 157 and Deanndra Carpenter with a game of 153.

Arrows drop Lakers

Tecumseh’s boys bowling team downed host Indian Lake 2,743-2,390 on Wednesday in Central Buckeye Conference action at T-P Lanes.

Michael Stevens led the Lakers with a game of 222 and a 401 series, while Michael O’Connor had a game of 186 and a 365 series. Tony Carpenter and Cody Bodi each added games of 184.

In junior varsity action, Tecumseh won 1,912-1,804. Charlie Carpenter rolled a 188 game and Cody Dearwester had a 160 game.
