Chiefs split with Mad River

Bellefontaine’s seventh-grade boys basketball team was defeated by Mad River 27-25, while the eighth-grade squad won 37-23.

For the seventh-graders, Spencer George and Trey Stahler led the Chiefs with eight points apiece.

In the eighth-grade contest, Hayden Nease had a game-high 16 points for Bellefontaine. Dawsin Tillman added 10 points. It was Bellefontaine’s third straight win.
