Ben Logan catches fire, scorches Knights 71-52

The outside/inside duo of Blaine Ricketts and Dalton Greene propelled host Benjamin Logan past Greenon on Friday.
Ricketts, a senior guard, poured in a game-high 26 points and Greene, a junior forward, had 16 points to help the Raiders to a 71-52 win in a Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division boys basketball game.
The win gives the Raiders a 2-2 overall mark and a 1-0 start in the CBC Mad River division.
Jordan Sosby contributed eight points and David Wenger had six for the Raiders, who led 32-27 at halftime.
The third quarter proved to be the difference in the game as Ben Logan pulled away with a 21-9 run. That surge gave the hosts a 53-36 lead.
Greenon was unable to recover in the final quarter.
Anthony Colletti scored 20 points to lead Greenon.
In junior varsity action, Ben Logan ran past Greenon 47-35. Grant Ricketts led Ben Logan with 13 points and Kyle Ackley had 12 points.
Ben Logan travels to Waynesfield-Goshen today for a non-league matchup.
