It was swift, it was powerful and it was expected.

Indian Lake’s wrestling team struck with a thunderous force Thursday at the Logan Country tri-meet and it paved the way for an impressive 2-0 performance.

It was the second time in three years the Lakers have swept the county meet. They handled Ben Logan 44-33 and rolled past Bellefontaine 56-24.

The host Lakers wrestled 18 matches between the two duals and lost just six of them. They won eight matches by pin, six of which were earned in the first period, two matches by technical fall and two matches by decision.
