Three local soccer players earn first-team honors; Others honored on all-Miami Valley squad

Indian Lake’s boys soccer program enjoyed its most successful season in school history this fall. That was not overlooked when it came to selecting the all-district teams.

Lakers’ head coach Jon Shoffstall was named the Division II all-district coach of the year by the Miami Valley Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association.

Shoffstall guided the Lakers to a program-high nine wins this fall.

Indian Lake freshman Connor Davis was selected to the Division II all-district team along with Bellefontaine’s Zach Gingerich.
