The athletic departments from West Liberty-Salem and Triad have released information to help fans that will be attending each school’s respective playoff football game Saturday night.
The fourth-seeded Tigers host fifth-seeded Dayton Christian at 7 p.m. Saturday in a Division V, Region 20 regional quarterfinal, while seventh-seeded Triad faces second-seeded Cincinnati Summit Country Day at 7 p.m. at Madeira High School in Cincinnati in a Division V, Region 20 game.
Gates open at 5 p.m. at WL-Salem. Presale tickets are available at the school during normal business hours, at McCulla’s Sew & Vac in West Liberty and Stocksdale Insurance in Urbana until 1 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $7 presale and $9 at the gate. Once fans enter the stadium, they will not be permitted to leave and re-enter without purchasing another ticket. Senior citizens, league, or WL-S staff or family passes will not be accepted.
There is a $2 parking fee per car at WL-Salem, and parking passes can be purchased at the same locations tickets are being sold. The booster club is offering a limited amount of reserved seats for an additional charge of $7, as there are a few left from the beginning of the season that were not sold. If interested, call 465-0051 to reserve a seat for Saturday night.
There is a community pep rally at 6 p.m. Friday in West Liberty at the fire department. The football team, as well as the state-bound WL-Salem cross country teams, will be honored. Presale tickets and parking passes are available for purchase during Friday’s pep rally.
For Triad fans heading to Cincinnati on Saturday, Madeira High School is located at 7465 Loannes Drive in Cincinnati. Presale tickets are $7 and will be available at the school from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. through Friday. Tickets at the gate are $9.
