Mac-O-Chee racing club wraps up outdoor season

The Mac-O-Chee Quarter Midget Racing Association hosted its final outdoor race weekend of the season Saturday and Sunday.

The Friday Night Shootout Series was rained out. When the final points were calculated, Wyatt Pelfrey was named the 2012 champion for Junior Honda, Logan Pelfrey was the Senior Honda champion and Hunter Lynch was crowned the champion for Light 160.

Saturday’s race schedule included another leg of the weekly points series. In the Red Rookie class, Gage Evans won the feature. Taylor McConahay finished second, Jayden Bogner finished third and Baylee Howard finished fourth. 

Blue Rookie driver Tom Stevens won the feature race, Mini-Indy driver Koulten Herbert finished second, Cody Stevens finished third and Zach Stevens finished fourth.
