Three area boys earn first-team OHC golf honors

West Liberty-Salem’s boys golf team finished atop the Ohio Heritage Conference standings again this fall and the Tigers were well represented on the all-league squad.







The Tigers’ Nick Sims and Jacob Rutan received first-team honors, while Ethan McBean earned a spot on the second team.

Triad standout Seth Donohoe also earned a spot on the OHC first team.

The Tigers’ Casey Gay received an honorable mention selection.

Cedarville’s Jordan Reese was named the OHC player of the year. Northeastern’s Andrew Williams and Daniel Lenk rounded out the rest of the first-team selections.

The rest of the OHC second team included Greeneview’s Bryan Northup and Griffin Bailey, Southeastern’s Gavin Green, Northeastern’s Greg Otto and Cedarville’s Stephan Gayer.

Other honorable mention honors went to Catholic Central’s Sean Jacobs, Ian Collins and Matt Paul and Quinton Howard, Mechanicsburg’s Mack Cushman, Northeastern’s Chandler James and Southeastern’s Jake Routzahn.
