Benjamin Logan Middle School hosted it's first Volley for The Cure match on Saturday, Oct 6th.  With the support of donations from several area companies, and individual donations, the event raised over $2400 to support The Susan G. Komen's Foundation fight against breast cancer.  Bellefontaine, Benjamin Logan, and Indian Lake 7th and 8th grade teams participated in the event.  We would like to thank the following for your generous donations...600 Downtown, Al Painting and Drywall, Bellefontaine Examiner, Bellefontaine Physical Therapy, Chakeres Theater, Cherokee HIlls Golf Course, DeJa You, JC Sports, Lees' Roofing, Mary Rutan Hospital, Michael Eller's Jewelers, New Leaf Florist, Peach Tree, ProTech Floor, Roberts Company, SPR Business Consultants, Stephens Fine Jewelry, Unseen Elegance, Vera Bradley Breast Cancer Foundation, WPKO, WBLL, & Wren's. The carnations donated by Wren's Florist were presented to someone special, per the player's choice.   Raffle drawings were held throughout the event, with the grand prize item being a Pandora Bracelet donated by Michael Eller's Jewelers.  The winning recipient was breast cancer survivor, Stacie Botkins.
