Indian Lake’s Morgan Barnett and Riverside’s Heather Comer wrapped up successful golf seasons Wednesday at the Division II district golf tournament at Pipestone Golf Course in Miamisburg.

The top three teams and top three individuals not on a qualifying team qualified to the state tournament next week in Columbus.
Chaminade-Julienne won the district title with a 359. Kettering Alter held off Versailles 372-375 to earn district runner-up honors.
Barnett, a sophomore, tied for 25th individually with a score of 95. She carded a 48 on the front nine and a 47 on the back nine.
“Morgan had an outstanding year,” said Indian Lake girls head coach Mike Pusey. “She averaged under 41 for nine holes. That is outstanding and I couldn’t be more proud of her.”
Comer was one stroke behind the Laker with a round of 96, which tied her for 28th individually. The senior recorded a 46 on the front and a 50 on the back.
Sarah Kolodzik of Miami Valley was tournament medalist with a low round of 72.
