Indian Lake’s Barnett records ace in practice round for districts

It was just a practice round, but it went down as a memorable day for Indian Lake sophomore Morgan Barnett on Sunday at Pipestone Golf Course in Miamisburg.

Barnett, who was practicing for Wednesday’s district tournament at Pipestone, aced the 109-yard 13th hole. She was using a pitching wedge for her hole-in-one.

Barnett is one of two area qualifiers for the Division II girls district tourney. She will be joined by Riverside’s Heather Comer.
