LeVan was driving a car owned by Bill Hostetler, a longtime friend of Evans. Evans was a dwarf car racing pioneer in Ohio. He lost a battle with cancer last year.
Ryan Miller took the early lead in the Evans Memorial. Brandon Bayse then jumped in front and led until a caution flag on lap 17. On the restart, LeVan made his winning pass going into turn 3 on lap 17. It was LeVan’s second victory of his inaugural dwarf car season.
