Tigers’ offense attacks Jets for 74-16 victory

It was complete domination by West Liberty-Salem’s football team on Friday as the Tigers pounded visiting Northeastern 74-16 in an Ohio Heritage Conference contest.

The Tigers keep their record spotless at 6-0 overall and are 3-0 in the OHC, while the Jets drop to 1-5, 1-2.

WL-Salem has now won 20 straight regular-season games dating back to Week 6 of the 2010 season.

Against the Jets, WL-Salem’s offense recorded 591 yards of total offense and saw eight different players reach the end zone.

The Tigers’ ground attack was especially effective. It finished the night with 467 yards.
