Triad used its offensive weapons to down host Greeneview 34-7 on Friday in an Ohio Heritage Conference matchup.
The Cardinals won their fifth straight game to improve to 5-1 overall and 3-0 in the OHC. The Rams slip to 4-2, 2-1.
“We got out to a slow start,” said Triad head coach Payton Printz. “Greeneview got down the field and we thought they were going to score, but on a third-and-long Tre McIntyre picked a pass off. We were able to settle in after that. Greeneview is going to be heck of a football team in the next few years, though.”
