WHAT TO WATCH FOR:

The Lakers and Chiefs both possess talented skill players. Limiting the other team’s big plays is the focal point for both defenses.

Bellefontaine and Indian Lake both are looking to get their ships righted. A win Friday would be a big boost in accomplishing that mission.

The Lakers host the Chiefs at 7:30 p.m. Friday in a matchup of Logan County football squads that still are trying to find their ways.

Bellefontaine (1-2) is coming off its first win as the Chiefs handled Benjamin Logan 48-14 a week ago.

“It was a good feeling for our kids to get that first win,” said BHS head coach Chris Schmidt. “Obviously, that is a feeling we want to experience more of, and we have to turn our focus to Indian Lake and be ready to play good football.”
