Calvary races past Sidney Christian

The Calvary Christian soccer team cruised past Sidney Christian 4-0 in recent high school action.

Nathan Spyker scored three goals and Ian McGillis added a goal for Calvary.

Daniel Salmonowicz and Peter Printz also had strong games for the Spartans.

Calvary hosts Emmanuel Christian on Thursday.

WL-Salem falls to Irish

Springfield Catholic Central won 4-0 over West Liberty-Salem in Ohio Heritage Conference girls soccer action Tuesday night.

April Kelley recorded 15 saves in goal for the Tigers.

The Tigers are now 4-2-3 overall and 4-1-1 in the OHC.
