West Liberty-Salem and Triad battled to a 1-1 tie on Wednesday in an Ohio Heritage Conference boys soccer matchup.

The Tigers are now 2-4-2 overall and 2-1-1 in the OHC, while the Cardinals are 1-2-1, 0-2-1.
Neither team was able to score in the first half.
WL-Salem’s Byler Williamson was able to find the back of the net to give his team a 1-0 lead.
Triad evened the score when Luke Donohoe recorded a goal to tie the game 1-1.
Defensively, Sam Warye made three saves at goal for WL-Salem and Jason Keeran had seven saves for Triad.
Triad hosts Urbana on Saturday in a non-league contest, while WL-Salem travels to Springfield Catholic Central on Tuesday.
