Indian Lake’s girls golf team defeated Riverside 194-231 on Tuesday in a local non-league matchup at Cherokee Hills Golf Course.
Morgan Barnett sparked the Lakers as match medalist with a low round of 40, while Sean Pusey carded a 46.
Also for the Lakers, Kylie Speicher shot a 53, Ashley Wall and Murphy Oberle each carded a 55 and Meliesha Hengsteler had a 57.
Heather Comer paced the Pirates with a 46, Destany Jones carded a 59, Bailey Leonard shot a 60, Katie Piras had a 66 and Jasmine Bryant added a 72.
Indian Lake travels to Minster today, while Riverside hosts Ft. Loramie on Thursday.
Red Devils sting Chieftains
Tippecanoe’s girls golf team zapped host Bellefontaine and Northeastern in a tri-match Tuesday at Liberty Hills Golf Club.
The Red Devils won with a 166, the Chiefs were second with 187 and the Jets came in third with 203.
Chelsea McLaughlin led BHS with a 40, Sarah Hall had a 45, Allie Skelly shot a 47, Lisha Taitt carded a 55 and Riley Penhorwood finished with a 58.
Bellefontaine hosts Kenton Ridge today in CBC action.
