In a back-and-forth affair, Springfield Shawnee prevailed over host Indian Lake in five grueling sets of volleyball Tuesday night.

The Braves won the match 18-25, 25-14, 25-19, 22-25, 15-13.
Indian Lake is now 6-4 on the season. Shawnee improves to 9-1.
Claire Maier turned in a strong setting effort and also had seven kills and three aces for the Lakers. Mikaela Oyer added four blocks and had a team-high 24 digs.
The junior varsity Lakers lost in two sets.
Indian Lake hosts Urbana on Thursday.
Raiders now 9-0
