Benjamin Logan’s varsity volleyball team ran its record to 8-0 on Monday with a three-set win over visiting West Liberty-Salem in non-league action.

The Raiders prevailed 25-15, 25-17, 25-21.
Ciarra Wirick, Kylee Smith and Taylor Quay each had seven kills to spark the Raiders. Alex Thompson recorded three blocks and Quay added five blocks.
For the Tigers, Rachel Loffing tallied seven kills, Courtney Milliron posted 22 digs and Autumn Klinger had 12 assists.
The junior varsity Raiders beat West Liberty-Salem 25-22 and 25-21. Madison Mahan and Autumn Walborn had six kills each and Brittany Burton recorded 10 assists and three aces for Ben Logan.
Both teams return to action tonight. The Raiders host Kenton Ridge and WL-Salem travels to Greeneview.
Indian Lake bounces Botkins
Host Indian Lake picked up a 25-18, 25-15, 23-25, 25-20 win over Botkins in non-league volleyball action Monday night.
The Lakers are now 6-3 on the season.
For Indian Lake in the win, Allison Knief had four aces, Brooke Defibaugh recorded 13 digs and Mikaela Oyer had 10 kills.
In the reserve match, Botkins won 25-12, 28-26.
Indian Lake hosts Springfield Shawnee tonight.
Fairbanks upends Triad
Fairbanks knocked off Triad 25-13, 25-14, 25-8 in a non-league volleyball match Monday evening.
Dayna Ober recorded nine kills and six points and Anna McKenzie had seven assists and seven points for the Cardinals. Hannah Watkins added four assists and Jenna Ober chipped in four digs.
Triad (3-4) plays at Cedarville tonight.
In Monday’s reserve match, Fairbanks 25-16, 25-18. Allyssa Eaton had eight points and Chelsea Price added seven points for Triad.
