BHS girls pull out last-minute victory over Benjamin Logan

Rosie Hyden scored with less than a minute to go to give Bellefontaine’s girls soccer team a thrilling 3-2 win over host Benjamin Logan on Wednesday in a Central Buckeye Conference contest.

The Chieftains are now 2-2 overall and 2-0 in the CBC and the Raiders slip to 3-3, 1-2.

“I thought we controlled the majority of the game, but we just didn’t make the most of our opportunities,” said BHS girls head coach Matt Price. “Ben Logan made the most of the few opportunities they had. 

“Defensively, Morgan Ferguson and Elise Brunner played very well and limited their offensive chances.”
