Indian Lake breezes to win over Riverside

Indian Lake’s volleyball team swept host Riverside in three sets 25-9, 25-20, 25-10 on Tuesday in a local non-league matchup.

The Lakers move their record to 4-3.

Sydney Miller was stellar on serves received and had eight digs to help lead Indian Lake in the win. Brooke Defibaugh had nine kills and Mikaela Oyer added seven blocks.

Karli Lump sparked the Pirates’ efforts with five digs, two aces and two kills, while Jessica Davis had four kills and Morgan Robison added five digs.

Indian Lake’s junior varsity team won 25-11, 25-15.

Both teams are back in league action on Thursday. Indian Lake travels to Graham for a Central Buckeye Conference contest and Riverside travels to Fairbanks for a Northwest Central Conference meeting.
