Chiefs even their record with win over Indians

Bellefontaine’s girls tennis team bounced back from Monday’s loss to Northwestern with a 3-1 win over visiting Stebbins on Tuesday.

The Chiefs are now 2-2 overall and 1-1 in the Central Buckeye Conference.

Bellefontaine was able to shake off the rough outing against the Warriors, a match that the Chiefs failed to win a set.

“We talked (before Tuesday’s match) about coming ready to play every match,” said BHS head coach Jim Stein. “We played much better. We got off to better starts than we did Monday.”
