Big inning propels Triad past Tigers

Host Triad used the strength of a five-run third inning to upend West Liberty-Salem 5-2 in an Ohio Heritage Conference baseball game Thursday.

The Cardinals are now 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the OHC, while the Tigers slip to 1-1, 1-1.

WL-Salem struck first, getting a run in the second inning to take a 1-0 lead.
