Anna derails Lakers

Visiting Anna scored all four of its goals in the second half to pull away for a 4-0 win over Indian Lake on Tuesday in a non-league girls soccer game.

“The first game of the season is always hard for coaches to tell how well their kids are going to do,” said Indian Lake coach Melissa Rice. “Our girls played competitively for most of the game. With this being the first game, we still have work to do to improve our season in order to stay consistent throughout the entire game.”

The two teams played to a scoreless tie at halftime, but the Rockets found their groove in the second half to grab the win.

Indian Lake is back in action Thursday at home against Kenton.
