Spencerville at Indian Lake

Indian Lake kicks off its season with a familiar non-league opponent at home Friday in Spencerville. The Lakers will be looking to avenge a 28-21 loss to Spencerville last season.

The Bearcats went 4-6 last year and finished near the bottom of the Northwest Conference.

Spencerville does have some size on defense with senior all-conference lineman Tyler Obringer (6-3, 261) returning. The Bearcats also return senior linebacker Ben Krouskop (6-2, 210) and linemen Keaton Vandemark (5-11, 168) and Shawn Broecker (6-2, 290).
