Lakers go 2-0 in Troy meet

Indian Lake’s wrestling team went 2-0 at a super quad meet Wednesday in Troy.

The Lakers rolled past Kenton Ridge 44-28 and advanced to beat Troy 42- 3. Sidney also wrestled in the meet.

Going 2-0 for Indian Lake were Steven Wray (119), Adam Witt (125), Scottie McMillen (135), Kevin Christman (145), Matt Marshall (189) and Thomas Taylor (215/285).

Finishing 1-1 on the night were Mikael Neeley (140), Cody Ray (152), Arron Witt (160) and Dane Cope (171).

The Lakers return to the mat Friday and Saturday at the Salley George Invitational at Marion Pleasant.
