Driver cited in crash

Ashlee N. Cupps, 21, of 11573 Cherokee Path, Lakeview, was cited Saturday for a stop sign violation after a 5:30 p.m. crash at county roads 23 and 54.

She drove eastbound into the intersection, forcing Jason L. Auckerman, 21, of Jackson Center, to swerve right. Mr. Auckerman’s northbound car went off the road and hit a telephone junction box.

Damage was light.
