Thieves interrupted

Linda Wood, 11398 State Route 720, Lakeview, reported around 1:30 a.m. Friday that three people had been seen breaking into her son’s pickup truck before running when approached.

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and found a compact disc case and energy drink can left in the truck. The CD case was identified as belonging to a neighbor whose vehicle had also been broken into. Ms. Wood’s son had a small amount of change taken.

• Michael A. Spencer, 35, of Vaughnsville, reported Monday that his debit card was lost and/or stolen Aug. 15 while at the Clark Station, 13365 N. State Route 235, Lakeview. He later discovered it had been used shortly after he lost it. No dollar amounts were listed.
