Man charged for burning woman’s goods

William Wisswell, 47, of 11834 Sunview Drive, Lakeview, was charged around 2:20 a.m. Saturday with criminal damaging, obstruction of justice, aggravated menacing and disorderly conduct.

Susan Wright told deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office she had been living at the residence until a recent break up with Mr. Wisswell. He called her and made threats that he would destroy her property.

When deputies arrived at the Sunview residence, they found a heavily intoxicated Mr. Wisswell tending to a bonfire which he was using to burn Ms. Wright’s property.

He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
