Rally revs into Russells Point Rally at the Peak festivities continued Saturday when cast and production members of Easy Rider: The Ride Back and dozens of motorcycle enthusiasts rumbled into Indian Lake for the Party at the Lake leg of the rally and the Yell and Tell charity motorcycle ride with Jean Davidson. The Indian Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, the Russells Point Business Association, village officials and other local sponsors hosted a number of events throughout the afternoon, including live music by Grey Horse, the Logan County Art League’s Art on the Harbor and Ms. Davidson drawing the winning ticket for the Harley-Davidson Fat Bob motorcycle. The bike, raffled by the Logan County Convention and Tourist Bureau, went to Calvin Fisher of Lakeview, who was not present. After the drawing, the party moved to Fox Island beach for a viewing of the sequel/prequel trailer with movie co-star Sheree Wilson and writer/producer and actor Phil Pitzer, who told the group he had fond memories of time spent at Indian Lake during his youth. The evening culminated with a showing of The World’s Fastest Indian. Art on the Harbor continued Sunday, with scores of visitors perusing a number of displays. |
