Minor injuries in crash

Maureena Strauser, 55, of Lakeview, was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead after a crash around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Troopers of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol report that Ms. Strauser was westbound on E. Main Street, Russells Point, after turning out of the Huntington National Bank, 340 E. Main St., when her car struck the vehicle driven by Richard Johnson, 49, of Russells Point, as he attempted to turn into the second driveway of the bank from the westbound lane.

Mr. Johnson’s passenger, Betty Johnson, 70, of Russells Point, was transported by Indian Lake EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital with minor injuries.

Damage to both vehicles was minor, and all occupants were wearing seat belts.
