Details of wreck reported

Drivers of two vehicles involved in a wreck shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday escaped serious injuries, deputies reported.

Sadie M. Oyer, 16, of Huntsville, was stopped for construction along State Route 235 north of State Route 274 when her car was struck from behind by a pickup driven by Tyler E. Bundy, 16, of Lakeview. The Oyer car went off the road and the Bundy pickup struck a utility pole, deputies report.

Damage was heavy to both vehicles and an Indian Lake squad responded, but did not transport either driver or a passenger. No citations had been issued Friday.

Drug charges filed

A Roundhead man was arrested on felony drug possession and several other charges after deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office noticed him on the lot of the Huntsville Marathon early Wednesday.

Johnny C. Davis, 33, had reportedly pulled into the lot of the closed business and then drove to the back at about 12:30 a.m.

He was taken to the Logan County Jail on public intoxication, trespassing and driving under suspension charges.

While booking him, jailers reportedly found the remnants of a marijuana cigarette, hemostats for holding the cigarette and 25 pills of the prescription painkiller Vicodin.

They added charges of possession of drugs, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

• Natasha Castello, 15, of 11083 Mohawk Path, Lakeview, was charged with delinquency counts of possession of drugs and drug abuse after deputies responded Tuesday to a complaint at Indian Lake Middle School that she was trying to give unidentified pills to her classmates.

Minor injuries reported in wreck

A Huntsville squad responded with deputies to a 3:30 p.m. Tuesday wreck in which two people suffered minor injuries.

Deputies report Steven D. Tracy, 27, of West Liberty, was northbound on County Road 130 near County Road 37 and was struck from behind by Heather L. Burchwell, 34, of Russells Point.

Ms. Burchwell was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Man cited for driving through yard

Citations for failure to control and driving under suspension were issued to Cody Reed, 18, of Huntsville, after a 2 a.m. Monday incident in which he allegedly drove through a yard at 16167 Oak Ave., Indian Lake Shores..
