ILMS solo and ensemble results announced

The following Indian Lake Middle School students participated in the OMEA District XI Solo and Ensemble Contest Saturday, April 12, at the middle school under the direction of Joyce King, vocal; Morissa Sweeney, instrumental; and chairperson Jason Fauley, with the following ratings:

Individual superior — Ashley Albright, clarinet, piano; Ashton Kindle and Leslie Reichert, flute; Rebecca Graham, flute, vocal; Rebekah Wahl, French horn, piano, vocal; Isabella Alexander, piano; Allison Allen, Elysa Easton, Jalyn Groves and Spencer Minnich, vocal.

Group superior — Eighth-grade flute trio, Ashton Kindle, Rebecca Graham and Jaime Shouse; vocal mixed ensemble, Rebecca Graham, Rebekah Wahl and Robert Ball; and vocal seventh-grade girls ensemble, Elysa Easton, Becca Meek, Savannaha Osborne, Amber Kawalec, Leslie Reichert, Katie Ray, Taylor Varvel and Elizabeth Ignarski.

Individual excellent — Charlita Rhoads, clarinet; Robert Ball and Evie Borba, vocal.
