Disorderly charge filed Deputies of the Logan County Sheriffs Office arrested Lorrie A. Corrao, 48, of 221 Orchard Island Drive, Apt. 65, Russells Point, on a disorderly conduct while intoxicated charge after they responded to Froggys, 11065 Township Road 293, Lakeview, at about 10 p.m. Friday. Ms. Corrao reportedly would not leave the bar when asked to do so. Drug charges filed Briana K. Mohler, 17, of 585 Oak Ridge Road, Lakeview, was issued summonses for delinquency drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia charges after deputies investigated a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Antonios Restaurant, 551 W. Main St., Russells Point at about 1 a.m. Sunday. They located suspected marijuana and a pipe inside the pickup truck and cited Michael E. Wagner, 23, of 132 North St., Russells Point, for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Teens charged for BB incident Three teens are facing delinquency criminal damaging charges after deputies followed leads in a Thursday report from Nathan Shinkle that boys had shot a window of his 315 Oak St., Lakeview, residence. They interviewed and charged Dillion M. Terry, 16, of 315 Hull St., Lakeview, and Adam Houchins, 17, of 205 Midway Drive, Lakeview. They also forwarded charges against a third suspect, Tyler Oakley, 17, of 9543 County Road 17, Lakeview, to prosecutors because Tyler didnt respond to requests for an interview. Man charged with OVI after wreck Charges of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to control were filed against Benjamin J. Rush, 23, of 315 Byers St., Lakeview, after an 11:45 p.m. Saturday crash on U.S. Route 33 near Township Road 88. He was westbound when he reportedly struck a mailbox on the right side of the road before going off the left side of the road. Other OVI arrests Troopers charged J. Scott Duff, 51, of 9085 OConnors Point, Belle Center, with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs after a 1:15 a.m. Saturday traffic stop on State Route 366 near Township Road 269. Richard Steiner Jr., 27, of 241 Grand Ave., Russells Point, was stopped about 1:20 a.m. Saturday on State Route 708 at U.S. Route 33 and arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.Video cameras catch men dumping Two Lakeview men were charged Thursday with littering after security cameras at the Lakeview Recycling Center caught them putting paneling and plywood in a recycling receptacle for cardboard. The men were identified as Tony Sprague, 36, and Harlan E. Gammon, 26, both of 245 Grove Ave., Lakeview. Citation issued after wreck A failure to yield citation was issued to Anna M. Burns, 17, of Lakeview, after a 2:40 p.m. Thursday wreck at the intersection Chickasaw at Blue Jacket paths in Lakeview. She reportedly pulled southbound from a stop sign into the path of a van driven by Allan L. Haerr, 66, of Lakeview, who was westbound on Blue Jacket. Annas vehicle reportedly traveled through the intersection and struck a house owned by Harold Meeker of Johnstown. Huntsville teen faces rape charges A 15-year-old Huntsville boy faces five counts of rape for allegedly sexually assaulting a girl younger than 13. Detectives of the Logan County Sheriffs Office arrested Eric Stanley, 15, 6796 Lima St., Huntsville, on Thursday after investigating a complaint that came through Logan County Childrens Services, Lt. Andy Smith said. The boy was charged and taken to the Logan County Juvenile Detention
Center. Man faces felony for going to ex-girlfriends A 20-year-old Lakeview man was arrested for aggravated burglary, theft and assault for allegedly going to his ex-girlfriends home and dragging her out by the hair, deputies of the Logan County Sheriffs Office report. Myles A. Schaeffer of 365 Union St., had gone to the home of Colleen Kennedy, 19, of 539 Washington Ave., Russells Point, about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday and became upset. When she attempted to call the police, he allegedly took the cell phone from her and drug her by her hair through gravel before leaving. Mr. Schaeffer was located a short time later at his residence and was taken to the Logan County Jail. Woman charged with OVI after hitting police cruiser A Belle Center woman who allegedly hit a Bellefontaine Police Department cruiser was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs after a 10 p.m. Monday incident, deputies of the Logan County Sheriffs Office report. Toni L. Schorr, 49, of 8307 Township Road 210, was charged after she reportedly failed to stop and hit the 2006 cruiser driven by Andrew K. Kennedy, 25, which was northbound stopped at the traffic light at the intersection of Main Street and Columbus Avenue. Ms. Schorr also was charged with failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Damage was moderate to the Schorr car and light to the police cruiser. No injuries were reported. Other charges filed Jason E. Engle, 39, of Waynesfield, was issued a summons for criminal mischief following investigation of a landlord-tenant dispute over a property he owns at 15235 U.S. Route 33, Lakeview. Former tenant Edith Pulford of Lakeview complained that on Thursday she went to the residence to retrieve belongings and Mr. Engle had boarded up the house and removed a fuse from her vehicle so she could not leave the property. Deputies filed the criminal charge for tampering with the motor vehicle. |
