Four treated after crash

A trooper from the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol speaks with witnesses to a single-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon on State Route 235, south of Lakeview, that sent four people to the hospital for minor injuries.

Reports indicate the driver, Christine Ortiz, 33, of 8981 Auditorium St., Lakeview, lost control of her southbound car on a curve at Township Road 240, traveled off the right side of the road and the left side where it rolled over.

Ms. Ortiz and three passengers, Jacob Klinker, 3, Victoria Ortiz, 10, and Ian Isaacs, 4, all of the same address, were transported by Indian Lake squads to Mary Rutan Hospital, where they were treated and released.

Ms. Ortiz was cited for operating a vehicle without reasonable control and a child safety seat violation. Indian Joint Fire District personnel also responded.
