Russells Point seats councilperson

Michelle Johnston repeated the oath of office Monday during a routine meeting of the Russells Point Village Council.

Ms. Johnston replaces Rick Pitts, who resigned the post in January.

Discussion included the filtration system at the water plant, which has yet to be approved by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, and the letter of assessment for the Miami River program, recently distributed by the Logan County Commissioners.

The next meeting is at 7 p.m. Monday, April 7.
