Patricia “Pat” A. Nichols Fansler Paul, 81, of Columbus, passed away March 26, 2018 in Gahanna, surrounded by her loving family.

Pat was born Aug. 11, 1936, in Urbana, to the late Arthur and Bertha Hart Nichols. She was married to Ross Fansler from 1953 to 1973, and to Roger Paul from 1981 until his death in 2000.

In her younger years, Pat also loved to bowl and was in several leagues.

She is survived by two daughters, Jana (Daniel) Burch and Tamara (Bruce) Shreve; three sons Ronald (Beverly) Fansler, Steven (Jeannie) Fansler and Daniel Fansler; grandchildren, Breann, Jared, Jessica, Andrea, Adam, Mark, Craig, Kylie, Courtney, Colin, Sutton and Logan; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Jayden, Alexander, Jazzlyn, Colton, Jaxon, Juliana, Cooper, Mason, Josie, Addison, Emerson and Gigi; sisters, Marlyn Thornburg and Carolyn Nichols, and many nieces and nephews.

Pat also was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Chaffin; and her beloved pets, Smokey and Brandi. She loved her family and they adored her. She will be forever missed and remembered.
