James E. Williams, 78, of Huntsville, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 24, 2018, at his home.
Jim was born Nov. 28, 1939, in Kenton, a son of the late Paul and Ellen Bugg Williams.
Jim is survived by his wife; Tina Williams; three daughters, Toni (Paul) Shady of Jackson Center, Jamie (Greg) Starrett of Anna and Erica (Jason) Simister of Tipp City; three stepchildren, Stephanie (Bryce) Sylvia of Bellefontaine Christine (Dewey) Hill of Powell and Steve Ferenchak of San Diego, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; a brother; Richard “Rick” (Marcia Young) Williams of Bellefontaine; a sister, Dorothy Krouse of Belle Center; and numerous nieces , nephews and cousins.
Jim was a 1959 graduate of Huntsville School. He retired from Airstream in Jackson Center after 34 years. Jim served in the Army National Guard for four years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, playing cards, snowmobiling in his younger years, and playing with his furbabies, Molly and Bella. He loved to be with his family and play with his grandchildren.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview, where visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 29. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in his name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
