Mary K. Risner, 87, of Kenton, passed away at 10:47 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, at the Bridge Hospice Center, Findlay.
She was born Aug. 6, 1930, in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Harley and Matilda Richards Hogue. Mary married James E. Risner on May 28, 1948, and he passed away July 9, 2011.
Mary is survived by her son, Paul (Wanda) Risner of Kenton; grandchildren, Heather Risner, Jeri Lynn (Jason) Clum and Jamie Risner, all of Kenton; and great-grandchildren, Jade Clark, Kylee Baker, C.J. Clum, Jenna Clum, Emma Clum, Kynzie Baker and A.J. Hayter.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Diane Sampson; and brother. Richard Hogue.
She was retired as a shipping clerk from Rockwell International after working there 35 years. Mary was a member of the Kenton Church of the Nazarene and a past member of the Kenton Ladies of the Moose Lodge 428 and the VFW Post 3333 Ladies Auxiliary.
Funeral services begin at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at the Schindewolf Stout Crates Funeral Home in Kenton, where calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22. Pastor Dave Dooley officiates and interment follows at Grove Cemetery.
